Modest Means Program

The Volunteer Lawyer Program accepts applications for its Modest Means Family Law program. This program is designed to help clients who cannot afford the full rate of a private attorney but have some ability to pay.

The program enables the VLP to expand services for clients who need assistance with a variety of family law issues. Clients will be offered the opportunity to hire an attorney at a reduced rate.

Individuals interested in the program will need to call the office and complete an eligibility interview. Callers will be asked to provide income and asset information. Once qualified, clients will meet with an attorney to determine the scope of representation that the attorney will provide.

At the present time, this program is offered in Allen County only.
