The program offers free legal aid to help individuals expunge criminal records, removing barriers to jobs, housing, and education. Participants attend an education event, receive a free record review, and, if eligible under Indiana law, meet with a volunteer attorney. Qualified individuals are then matched with a pro bono lawyer through the Volunteer Lawyer Program.

In celebration of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., the Volunteer Lawyer Program is offering free brief legal advice during Talk to a Lawyer Day on Monday, January 19th, 9 AM–4 PM. Volunteer attorneys will be available to answer legal questions by phone at 260-407-0917.
